After reading the information sheets answer the following questions

1.      Describe the major vegetation communities in the Upper Parramatta River Catchment.

2.      Describe the major vegetation community around your school.

3.      What are the main native plant species that are in the catchment in which your school is situated?

4.      How many species of bird can be found in the Upper Parramatta River Catchment?

5.      Which mammals are found in the catchment?

6.      How many species of amphibian are found in the catchment?

7.      Which of these are considered threatened species?

8.      What is meant by the term threatened species?

9.      How many species of fish occur in the rivers of the catchment?
