The 2004 Regional Environment Awards reccognises local citizens,
community groups, schools and councils that have been involved
in a project over the last 12 months that has
- improved the local environment,
- increased awareness of local environmental issues, or
- promoted best environmental practice
in the areas covered by Baulkham Hils Shire Council, Blacktown
City Council, Holroyd City Council and Parramatta City Council.
The Upper Parramatta River Catchment Trust, Baulkham Hils
Shire Council, Blacktown City Council, Holroyd City Council
and Parramatta City Council sponsor the awards.
All prize money must be spent on future environmental projects
