Summary
This project involved upgrading the Blacktown Creek
channel through Transfields to a 20-year flood capacity. The upgraded
channel, with minor bunding and raising flood sensitive equipment,
has minimised flood damage and disruption to major local employer
in all but the largest floods. The Trust coordinated the design,
obtained the necessary approvals and paid for a structure in the
creek channel, with Transfield paying the balance.
