Summary
Construction of a flood culvert under Hart Drive (Cumberland
Highway) at Wentworthville and associated works allows 100-year
flood flows to pass beneath the highway, preventing the frequent
above-floor inundation of 11 previously flood prone townhouses.
The project was co-ordinated by the Trust, but most of the construction
cost was met by the RTA and the Department of Housing.
