Summary
The Trust has developed a detailed and refined hydrological model
and hydraulic model of the catchment and its waterways.
The hydrologic model called RAFTS calculates run-off volumes from
rainfall data.
The hydraulic model called MIKE-11 calculates flood heights and
velocities at over 2000 locations across the catchment from the
run-off data calculated from the hydrologic model.
The flood data calculated is used by the four local councils in
their flood related development control plans.
