The Trusts OSD policy was developed in conjunction with the
four councils and was adopted by each of the councils in November
1991. This Handbook spells out the OSD policy and provides guidance
for OSD designers, property owners and others involved with development.
Although primarily concerned with the Upper Parramatta River Catchment,
the Handbook also shows how the procedure on which the policy is
based can be adapted to provide approximate parameters in other
locations.

How Do I Get a Copy of the OSD Handbook?
Hard Copy ($44)
A hard copy of the Handbook is available from the Trust office
in Parramatta at a cost of $44 (including GST) which includes a
binder. Call (02) 9891 4633.
Electronic Copy (Free)
An electronic copy of the handbook (and the OSD calculation spreadsheet),
is available free of charge provided that you fill in the simple
registration form below. You will then be emailed the location from
which the handbook and/or the spreadsheet may be downloaded.
The Trust will ensure that the current version of the OSD Handbook
is available on the web and an e-mail will be forwarded to everyone
who has registered each time a revision occurs. This should ensure
that registered users always have access to the latest version of
the Handbook. To avoid having to download the whole document each
time changes occur, a copy of those pages which have been changed
will also be made available. However it will always be your
responsibility to ensure that you are using the current version
of the OSD Handbook.
Newsletter (Free)
You may also request a copy of the quarterly OSD newsletters when
these are produced.
If your organisation requires multiple copies of the OSD Handbook
it is only necessary to provide a single contact point. However,
it will be your responsibility to ensure that updates and newsletters
are circulated to all users.
