Summary
Every month since 1990, environmental scientist, Dr
John Laxton, has tested water quality at four sites in the lower
reaches of the upper catchment and a further four estuarine sites
on the Parramatta and Duck Rivers. This information provides baseline
data against which the effectiveness of water quality improvement
measures in the catchment can be assessed. It shows changes in water
quality, and includes a summary of ANZECC water quality guidelines,
and the graphed results for each parameter tested.
